Angel Falls, Venezuela: Considered World's Tallest Uninterrupted Waterfall
Angel Falls drops from Auyán-tepui in Canaima National Park, Bolívar State, Venezuela. It is generally considered the world's tallest uninterrupted waterfall, although its record is disputed because South Africa's Tugela Falls is also cited as potentially taller. The falls have a total measured height of 979 meters, or 3,212 feet, with a main plunge of about 807 meters, or 2,648 feet. The total includes sloped cascades and rapids below the main drop and a further plunge of about 30 meters. Angel Falls is named for US aviator Jimmie Angel, who flew over it in 1933 and landed a plane on Auyán-tepui in 1937. Wide-angle aerial views look down the narrow plunge toward the forest and river valley, while frontal views show the full drop descending through clouds and mist. Another view shows a man seated near the rocky edge of a tepui summit above a bank of clouds.

Imagine you are a fish. Just swimming around and suddenly you get washed out into the abyss.... Sucks to be a fish living upriver from Angel falls.
