Some of the aqueducts they built are still in use today.  They can’t make anything today that would last as long even with all of the current technology, rules, guidelines, materials and craftsmanship.  |

Yes, I walked on an elevated aqueduct (no longer in use) hiking the wilds of Provence. I was not expecting to stumble upon it, so it was quite a thrill.
