Amazing Low Flying F/A-18 Hornet

An F/A-18 Hornet cruises through the canyons of Northern California ridiculously close to the ground and at speeds so high he is forced to make many turns inverted to avoid pulling Gs to deadly to withstand.

That was absolutely awesome. The part where he was following the river was the best part.

Re: Amazing Low Flying F/A-18 Hornet

I worked for McDonnell Douglas (now Boeing) shortly after the Vietnam war ended. The engineers talked about seeing the fighter jets landing with foliage caught in the aircraft from the pilots skimming above the jungle treetops. Pilots are a different breed.

I remember seeing that actually happen, from a grunts eyeview. A4-D's, Phantoms, and lots of UH-1a Hueys picked up plenty of jungle on their skids and other parts.
