I loved Alaska! I feel like the postcard shots are more often than not angles that can hide a lot (compared to say Austria, where it all looks like the pictures). But I like the "frontier" feel you get there, that's genuine.

Kim does not camp. If the bears don't eat me, the mosquitoes will. The pic attached to this post is a copy of the last one I posted earlier. If you look carefully inside the red circle you can see a puffin. That whole rock is riddled with little caves and tons of puffins nest in there. When I croak, that's where I want my ashes dumped.   · |
