African Python Hunters Use a Man's Leg as Bait

A group of python hunters in a sub-Saharan African savanna used one man's leg to draw a snake from its burrow. The man crouched beside the hole and pushed his cloth-wrapped leg inside. After the python bit the leg, the other men pulled both the hunter and the snake from the burrow. The group then killed the python with a machete and stretched it out on the dirt. The hunting method uses game-scented cloth around the leg to induce a burrowed python to bite, allowing the hunters to haul it into the open.

Uh huh. Now I'm not sure if he's crazy, stupid, or just really hates that leg. Would of sucked if the python decided to go after a different part of his body as he kept his legs spread.
