This is most easily seen in picture 1_020 (guy with white shirt in hallway), 1_034 (rusty tank) and the last picture, 1_046. However, such radiation would only affect pictures from film /negatives, but not images from a digital camera's CCD.

Defo an ICBM site

The barrels look to be possibly liquid fuel that come as individuals and then lock together to create a fuel cell....these rather alarmingly seemed to have been screwed together making a complete set of fuel cells!!
