Re: Abandoned Amusement Parks

A family of radio-active inbred cannibalistic circus midgets chasing half-naked college co-eds around the park would make a pretty shitty movie.
That was kind of my point

Re: Abandoned Amusement Parks

I wonder who normally "owns" abandoned parks, or the old rides that sit there half-rotting, where nature's just been allowed to sort of reclaim the land. (And suddenly I'm having images of another "found footage" film of some kids sneaking into an abandoned park and not finding it completely "abandoned")
You mean like Scooby-Doo?

I'd say pop in a mixture of Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Scooby, and maybe Torchwood....

Re: Abandoned Amusement Parks

I always think it'd be fun to explore an abandoned amusement park. Not just for the cool pictures, but to get a glimpse at what it might have looked like behind the scenes. Bigger parks would be more interesting in that area probably, of course.

I'd watch it.

Same here :)
Sounds like perfect B-Movie material.
