Kind of went to hell around the early-mid 20th eh? Meh thankfully photography kept the preservation of beauty going (as seen in DR's hot women thread )

Not at all!. They are as unique as snowflakes. All of them have different espressions. Sure they are all of a subdued nature but that was because of the posing that was done. Mona Lisa is the most famous BECAUSE of her expression. Almost a secret smirk. Many others tried to capture that shy smile and failed.
