Re: 50-ton bowhead whale caught with 1800's weapon found in its neck
Those spikes don't look 200 years old to be honest. Those threads on the black piece look new. I dunno maybe its just me.

Re: 50-ton bowhead whale caught with 1800's weapon found in its neck
The 49-foot male whale died when it was shot with a similar projectile last month, and the older device was found buried beneath its blubber as hunters carved it with a chain saw for harvesting. Yeah and now we will never know how long the poor thing could have lived because some bastard has finally succeeded in killing it. Poor bloody whale. To think it lived through that, and then a century later someone kills it. We are supposed to evolve as humans. Whaling should have stopped a hundred years ago. |
