Re: Is the 5 Second Rule True
With bananas you can cut off the part that touched the floor but i bet when they gonna research how many bacteria we have on our hands, that we got from touching door handles or towels etc, before preparing and grabbing the food before eating, like sandwiches, they would get alarming results too. Also we need to be contaminated to a certain point to keep our immune system alert and strong. That's why super clean houses/kitchens results in kids getting all kind of diseases cause they can't form a good and strong immune system. Reminds me of a couple which toddler was always sick having a wide range of small diseases and allergies so the doc told them to let him play outside and eat dirt. In 6 months the toddler was cured of skin allergies and stomach/intestines troubles. |

Re: Is the 5 Second Rule True
I was brought up in the countryside on a farm and my hands picked up all sorts If something fell on the floor, we just picked it up and ate it. I'm still here. I've no allergies, digestive disorders, rarely catch bugs, fight off colds quickly and if i drop toast/whatever on the floor, in my gob it goes |
