Re: The £28million Backlog of Perfectly Driveable Vehicles Waiting to Be SCRAPPED

Can I have one for free then?
Me too, mine had a tree jump out infront of it.

It's such a waste, so many low income families would kill to have the chance to buy one of these on the cheep.

Re: The £28million Backlog of Perfectly Driveable Vehicles Waiting to Be SCRAPPED

The intent of the Cash for Clunkers was to stimulate auto sales while taking drivable cars off the road, causing more need for new.

Nice scam but alot of those cars (in the US) would have been able to be donated to poor for a tax credit.
Nano helped me get one ready for donation earlier this year.
Was it a car you owned?? Did you get to give it to the person yourself or what??? story man!!

1st car was a 1995 Taurus I bought for my Grandma years ago.
Donated and never saw the people.
2nd car was a 2000 Isuzu Rodeo, old fleet car I never liked.
Donated to a crazy cat lady here in KC who I met thru the shelter I donate time at.

Those Rodeos were a nightmare to drive at the best of times, my old boss had one.

Re: The £28million Backlog of Perfectly Driveable Vehicles Waiting to Be SCRAPPED

I dont think any of their cars made it over, just truks and suvs.
I only drove it to the shop and to be donated.
I just thought it was ugly and I already have an SUV.
