Victor Hugo - Author of Les Misérables
Victor Hugo, the renowned French author best known for his works such as "Les Misérables" and "The Hunchback of Notre-Dame," passed away on May 22, 1885. Born on February 26, 1802, in Besançon, France, Victor Hugo emerged as a leading figure in the French Romantic literary movement. His body of work includes poetry, novels, and plays. Victor Hugo died at the age of 83 in Paris. The cause of his death was pneumonia, which he contracted after a series of strokes. In his last years, Hugo was regarded as a national hero in France. Despite his failing health, he continued to be involved in the literary and political spheres. His death was anticipated by the French public due to his ailing health.  · |

What's scarier was that he was a horndog in his later years. The story goes that at his funeral there were a bunch of prostitutes that came to morn his death.
