The Suspicious Death of Kendrick Johnson
Another apparent cover up, this one was actually in a town close by to me. The third photo is of Emmett Till, another boy that was beaten that they compared Kendrick's story to. The death of Kendrick Johnson, a 17-year-old student at Lowndes High School in Valdosta, Georgia, continues to be a source of mystery and controversy. Johnson's body was discovered in a disturbing manner on January 11, 2013: upside down and rolled up inside a gym mat at his school. Initially, local investigators ruled Johnson's death an accident. The Georgia Bureau of Investigation (GBI) conducted an autopsy, concluding that positional asphyxia was the cause of death, indicating that Johnson suffocated after becoming stuck in the mat while attempting to retrieve a shoe. However, several aspects of the case raised doubts. A shoe Johnson was supposedly reaching for was found atop a blood pool, yet unstained. Additionally, a hoodie, another pair of gym shoes, and blood on a wall were found at the scene, none linked to Johnson. These elements, coupled with the rapid ruling of an accidental death, led Johnson's family to question the official explanation and suspect foul play. A second autopsy, commissioned by the family, suggested Johnson died from blunt force trauma to his neck, contradicting the initial findings. Following the second autopsy, the case was reopened in October 2013 for a formal review by the U.S. Attorney for the Middle District of Georgia. However, the Department of Justice announced in June 2016 that it would not file federal criminal charges, citing insufficient evidence. In 2014, Johnson's parents filed a wrongful death lawsuit against the school's officials, alleging negligence and a possible cover-up involving an FBI agent's sons. These claims, lacking robust evidence, led to the lawsuit's dismissal and significant legal fees for the Johnson family. The case is marred by controversies, including issues with the school's surveillance footage, which showed gaps and inconsistencies, and the handling of Johnson's body post-mortem, notably the replacement of his organs with newspapers, which fueled cover-up theories. In March 2021, Lowndes County Sheriff Ashley Paulk announced the case's reopening, citing new evidence. However, by January 2022, this second investigation closed without charges, with the sheriff not classifying the case as a homicide. |

Re: The Suspicious Death of Kendrick Johnson
wonder why the school doesn't hand over the footage of the time before he died. is there someone else in that footage that could be linked to his death ? etc. etc.

Re: The Suspicious Death of Kendrick Johnson
his face is all jacked up from him being UPSIDE DOWN in a rolled up mat. Nothing more, nothing less. There looks like no obvious beating damage to him. just the decomposition process kicking in. I guarantee the autopsy should no signs of bruises or broken bones or other signs of beating on his face and skull. I think they just need to see the facts of it. Maybe people just dont understand how a body rots. If he wasnt upside down in there then his feet would be swelled like balloons. being as his head was down thats where all the bodily fluids went, straight to his melon.
