I really hate this one. Normally, I think that we are relatively safe because murders tend to be between people who know each other, and were most likely involved with some criminal activity. In this case, it was some old guy living his life, and getting shot for no reason.

I guess Save-A-Lot ended up with some free advertising out of this though...

This is down right cold-blooded. I can find humor in a lot of things, but this isn't one of them. I feel so sorry for this old man. You could see the fear in eyes. I mean, can you imagine walking down the street, sun's shining, you just got to see your family and some little ones on Easter and outta nowhere, some stranger comes up and takes your life.

I've seen many nasty gore videos through the years on various websites. Bloody beheadings. People getting smushed by vehicles. Brains being blown out in slow motion. People being burned alive and being blown apart. The worst of the worst.

Yet, this video, which doesn't really show a lot of gore, except for a brief moment at the end when the camera pans over the victim's lifeless body and the blood trail, is one of the most disturbing and stomach churning videos I have ever seen.

Just the randomness of it all, a gentle old man who should be enjoying the rest of his life after having had a full life and raising many grand kids, walking home after Easter dinner. And cut down like an animal by a remorseless sociopath.

The only other comparable video which made me feel like this was that poor taxi driver (in Brazil?) who was shot in the back of the head.
