O'Rourke's death (as well as four others) has been attributed to a supposed curse on the Poltergeist films and those associated with them; this urban legend supposedly stems from a real human skeleton used as a prop in the first film.[34] According to backstage personnel, the ghost of O'Rourke herself haunts Paramount Pictures' stage #19, where she filmed episodes of Happy Days.[35]

River died from a mixture of heroin and cocaine that was given to him in a drink which he willfully chugged then started having seizures and died on the pavement outside the viper room. They dragged him outside so he wouldn't die on the premises he was embalmed but the embalmer did a terrible job. He was such a beautiful person and was taken way too soon.

Definitely something haunted about that Poltergeist movie. I remember my Mum telling me all about the deaths of people who worked on it, like poor Heather. (Of course she didn't let me watch it)

The slang "oogy" was used in that M*A*S*H episode where someone needs a blood transfusion with a rare blood type, so they get a drunken serviceman who was on leave. When he sees the vacutainer needle to take his blood he panics because he has a fear of needles and says, "They make me feel all... OOGY!"
