Rare Photos of Ted Bundy Victim Lisa Levy
Lisa Levy, a student at Florida State University, tragically lost her life in a violent incident in 1978 that shocked the local community and garnered national attention. Levy, along with Margaret Bowman, was a victim of the notorious serial killer Ted Bundy, who broke into the Chi Omega sorority house at Florida State University on the night of January 14-15, 1978. This heinous crime marked a horrifying chapter in Bundy's series of murders that spanned several states. Levy, a 20-year-old student from St. Petersburg, Florida, was pursuing a degree in fashion merchandising at the time of her death. Her life was brutally cut short in an event that is remembered for its brutality and senselessness. Bundy's attack at the Chi Omega sorority house also left three other women severely injured. The incident prompted an extensive investigation, leading to Bundy's capture and subsequent trial. Bundy, already a suspect in numerous other murders across the United States, was eventually convicted of the Chi Omega homicides, among other crimes. Bundy has always been interesting to read up on. My mother was vacationing in Florida during the time when Bundy was quite active in the same region. Herself and her friends were his victim types as well, age, etc.. |
