"Tough gun laws" in Europe are no related to the rise of Terror Attacks, your "American" narrative is not reality there. Stephen Paddock was not a terrorist. If he had a small gun, or a knife, more of 90% of the people he killed would be still alive to this day.

But really..I want to see the surveillance vids of him at the hotel and also...wouldn't the FBI be able to tell if he has help bringing all those guns?! They speculate he had to have help..they know!

Assuming that he was a secularist/atheist this is correct. If he had religious leanings (and one can hardly rule this out on the basis of his actions) then he might have considered the possibility that his final acts could have some influence on his status in the hereafter.
