Re: Pictures & Videos From The Mass Shooting at Las Vegas Concert
Again, people with no knowledge of guns, laws, or even an understanding of critical incidents sure come out of the woodwork to Monday morning quarterback the hell out of these sad incidents. |

The suspect's brother, Eric Paddock, told reporters their father was a bank robber who used to be on the FBI's most wanted list and once escaped from prison. According to a 1969 poster issued by law enforcement for the fugitive, Patrick Benjamin Paddock was "diagnosed as psychopathic". One former neighbour said the suspect was a professional gambler and "weird". |

Re: Pictures & Videos From The Mass Shooting at Las Vegas Concert
But that’s exactly my point - he had the advantage on everyone there. He had the arsenal of weapons, the vantage point, the will to harm. No one stood a chance, armed or otherwise. How many mass shooters are taken down by the average Joe? He had the upper hand, handed to him by his right to bear arms. I know this subject is contentious and I do see how angry people get over it. I don’t see that lives are saved by owning guns. I see the opposite. And I don’t believe the converted to Islam story. He was just a nutcase. |

you're the one comparing yourself to a country that has had virtually no attention paid to public service efforts in 20 years. but thank you for being the prime example of my point: no pro-gun even wants to just listen to why others are shocked. |

I'm not "pro gun" haven't owned one in years, and I'm not "driven by culture" to have them. I just use rational thinking and logic when seeing both sides of the argument. So save me the tired old "poverty creates dindus" bullshit. People driven to murder will do it by any means necessary. Guns don't change it. Brazil is a prime example of that. |

Yeah, but you have to admit they make it a lot easier to kill more people. Lately they seem to be using cars and trucks too but you can see them coming a lot easier.

Re: Pictures & Videos From The Mass Shooting at Las Vegas Concert
Still. Car, truck, bomb, kitchen knife, guns, it isn't the objects used no matter what's easier or not. The real problems lay underneath and taking away objects doesn't fix shit. The underlying problems needs to be addressed. Radical ideologies, political violence, racially driven, mental health. All will not go away just taking objects away. No, instead, it empowers them. In the current sociopolitical climate our society is dishing out, we have every facet of daily influence creating boogeymen. Instilling fear and loathing into the minds of every easily manipulated audience members. |

https://www.google.co.uk/amp/s/www.b...anada-41472462 According to NBC News , Stephen Paddock recently made several gambling transactions in the tens of thousands of dollars. He clearly planned the attack because he brought the weapons in but wondering if he tried gambling huge amounts that would mean he did or didn’t go through with it depending on the outcome? Just my theory for the day! |
