A couple of things first the remington 700 rifle that he used is a great rifle, it still being used now as a sniper rifle with a heavier barrel but its the same gun. I have the exact same gun he used scope and all and if its failed in and you have shot with it. you would be surprised how relatively easy those shots are (not saying shooting human targets are easy) I am saying he had the right weapon, training training and position to shoot from. Plus he was the first person to do something like this and people didn't know what was happening. I was a teenager and watched it on TV it was bazzar. As far a the tumor the connally report in 1966 and now feel there was a connection "The psychiatric reviewers contributing to the Connally report concluded that "the relationship between the brain tumor and ... Whitman's actions ... cannot be established with clarity. However, the ... tumor conceivably could have contributed to his inability to control his emotions and actions",[85] while the neurologists and neuropathologists concluded that "the application of existing knowledge of organic brain function does not enable us to explain the actions of Whitman on August first." Forensic investigators have theorized that the tumor may have been pressed against the nearby amygdala region of his brain. The brain contains two amygdalae, one on each side, and the amygdalae are known to affect fight-or-flight responses. Some neurologists have since speculated that Whitman's medical condition was in some way responsible for the attacks,[86] in addition to his personal and social frames of reference. |

His wife was a teacher at my Jr High School (Burnet)in Austin about 10 years before I was there. They used to talk about her room being haunted but I never heard are saw anything. It was a 7th and 8th grade school at that time but not sure what it was when she was there.

You like him because he helped people?  Oh yeah he really helped people like he was such a saint when he shot a young pregnant woman in the stomach. Why kill a baby? He's an excellent shot so that was deliberate, he literally saw a pregnant woman and said ooh let me see if I can hit the baby. He's trash and if you're gonna pick a favorite killer pick one with some gumption. Not a pussy who hides and shoots an unborn child. At least pick a serial killer dude I mean mass murderers are lame, they're always the biggest cowards and they're boring. It's just the same old story over and over. They're always like "Waaaah nobody loves me" and "Waaaah I'm pathetic and want to die now I gotta murder people" it's stupid. This guy is the epitome of a pussy.
