Re: Pictures From The Santiago De Compostela Train Crash
Didn't include information about the cause because the definite cause is still uncertain. No doubt it was due to excess speeds, which was tipping at around 180 km/h, 100 km less then he should have been doing which is crazy. The fact that he posted previously on to Facebook a picture of the speed dial boasting about how fast he could go and being on the verge of getting fined. This alone is why he is an imbecile endangering the lives of others. More in the post that Goober provided but there is investigation to why there were no automatic brakes applied or speed limit preventions that are built in to these trains today. |

Re: Pictures From The Santiago De Compostela Train Crash
I heard on the news that most of the high-speed track this train travels on has automatic speed governors, to stop the train from going to fast. Apparently this dangerous section does not. One question. WHY NOT???

Re: Pictures From The Santiago De Compostela Train Crash
What exactly are " our thoughts to the victims who didn't" (survive)? Does it go like this, since you don't know their names? Victim #1 - a thought for you; Victim #2 - a thought for you, etc. etc. That stuff is so phony, like "my heart goes out to so and so". These are anonymous strangers, and you don't really give a damn about them, so stop being such phonies.
