wow... so why in the thee hell would that car be available to anyone in the general public? or is it? my god...

could you see a lawsuit coming from this somehow? either against Porsche directly or the dealer that sold the car? I won't be surprised if someone tries.

think they would have a case?

ps... don't know why my quoted posts are posting damnit!

Re: Paul Walker Death Picture

Ugg... here's another report explaining why Paul was in the damn car to begin with. I hadn't heard any of this until today. Here's the link and the story pasted below:

Paul Walker and a cruel twist of fate: Fast & Furious star and friend 'only got in $500,000 Porsche to take over from worker who failed to park it four times'

  • Worker apparently tried to maneuver $500,000 Porsche up ramp into a parking spot four times at end of day
  • But he couldn’t operate the super-powerful, manual vehicle, so Paul’s friend and business partner Roger Rodas took over
  • Witness, Eduardo Luna tells MailOnline it was then that Paul suggested they take it for a spin and take the drive that would cost them their lives
  • Around a minute later people, at the charity show at the exotic car garage the pair owned, heard a huge explosion nearby
  • Luna said Rodas' eight-year-old son could be heard screaming: ‘My dad, my dad, he’s dead’
  • Investigators have ruled out racing but say crash involved high speed
  • Autopsies being carried out on Paul's and Roger's bodies today

Paul Walker would never have been in the $500,000 supercar that he died in if an employee hadn't of repeatedly stalled it while trying to garage it for the night, it was revealed today.
In a cruel twist of fate, the unnamed worker apparently tried to maneuver the car up a ramp into a parking spot four times, but he couldn’t operate the super-powerful, manual vehicle, so Paul’s friend and business partner Roger Rodas took over.
Before Rodas, who owned the 2005 Porsche Carrera GT, could put it away for the day, Fast & Furious actor Walker jumped in the passenger seat and they decided to go for a quick spin round the block.
The pair had only been on the road for around one minute when the they careered into a tree and burst into a huge fire ball.
Their friends and family – including Rodas’ eight-year-old son – were just a few hundred yards away at a charity event being held at their car exotic business – Always Evolving in Valencia, California.

Walker's 15-year-old daughter, Meadow, was not present at the event, despite earlier reports to the contrary.

Walker's PR team posted a statement on his Facebook page Tuesday insisting that the teenager did not witness the actor's death.
'It is unfortunate that claims are being made to the media that Paul's daughter Meadow was at the event on Saturday when the accident occurred,' the statement read. 'We want to clarify that Paul went to the event alone.
'Meadow was not at the charity event on Saturday and thankfully, did not witness the accident. Any claims stating otherwise are inaccurate.'

Rodas’ son, however, was driven round to the scene by another guest at the function which was held to raise money for Walker’s charity, Reach Out Worldwide.
The young boy was heard frantically screaming, ‘My dad, my dad, he’s dead’, by Eduardo Luna, who owns a Mexican furniture warehouse opposite the automotive company and witnessed the whole tragic incident.

Interesting. Still no definite evidence that Walker was driving as well as witnesses at the charity event claiming they never saw Walker driving either. Since Rodas was the professional Porsche race car driver it seems likely he would have been the one to step forward and get the parking issue sorted out. Like the dealership memo suggests, the car has F-1 like suspension on it which means even the smallest bump in the road can cause the driver to lose control and crash. With all those reflective dots on the road where they crashed it's possible that the car was taken too fast around the corner and strayed onto some of those, causing it to slide or spin out of control.

BTW, I have the same problem with posts too. I can post using Chrome or Safari but all my posts disappear when using Firefox. Haven't figured that one out yet

Re: Paul Walker Death Picture

Another factor to consider is that the body sitting on the passenger side of the car was partially dragged out by one of Walker's closest friends, Nute. When firefighters arrived they attempted to physically remove Nute from the car for his own safety but he punched one of the firefighters, which prompted police to forcibly wrestle him away from the scene of the accident. He was cuffed and quickly detained but then released once police worked out who he was. In the meantime the driver's body had not been touched and both his legs were still placed firmly in the driving position, underneath the dashboard with feet on the pedals. So that evidence alone indicates that Paul Walker is in fact the body on the passenger side of the vehicle.
Um, what? There is NO WAY that his body was partially dragged out. That's clear just by the video posted by a bystander, taken BEFORE his friends showed up, which show the entire car already fully engulfed in flames. No one got close enough to touch either one of them, especially whoever was sitting on the passenger side of the car. If Nute has burns on his hands, then *maybe* I'd buy that story. Maybe.

Re: Paul Walker Death Picture

Those pictures of Nute don't match the video of the guy talking about trying to get Paul out, either. Those pictures are clearly after the fire department arrived and had already been dousing the car with water to put out the fire, which doesn't match the statement at all. There is absolutely NO EVIDENCE in those photos that anyone tried to pull a body out of the car. None.

Re: Paul Walker Death Picture

My point was that claims that they could even reach Paul Walker's body while it was burning are sketchy to say the least. They would have probably had to climb over Rodas' body just to get to him, and I don't particularly imagine them doing this, considering it was very clearly fully engulfed in flames. It's MUCH more feasible of a story if Paul was sitting in the driver's position. That's all. And, again, it's just pure speculation. It's more likely that he was the passenger and anyone claiming that they could reach his seat belt or his body are just lying, for whatever reason.

Where are those Asian homicide "pointers" when you need one? I only see the one body.
