So, I was thinking about the video of Paul's friend who talks about trying to get Paul out of the car. After looking at all of the pictures of the wreckage, I don't understand how they could even reach his seatbelt, or get near him at all. The passenger door was up against a tree and the back end of the car wrapped around that same tree, back in the direction of the passenger door. That entire part of the car was on fire. You couldn't just reach in and be able to easily reach him at all. Plus, the hood was us, so it's not like climbing on the hood was an option, either. IF he was the passenger. The driver, however, would have been MUCH easier to reach. There was very little car left on the driver's side after the car was ripped in half. Just made me go hmmmm. Maybe Paul was driving the car. Just pure speculation. In reality, I doubt they were able to get anywhere close to helping either - mainly because that fire would have been HOT. Very hot. Just getting close would have been difficult. I'm not sure I believe claims that they were able to even attempt releasing the seat belt. |

Not to be a dick, but Paul Walker was a pretty C-List "celebrity". His claim to fame was a string of really dumb car movie sequels. That said, it sounds like he was a nice guy. Why is it always the nice people that die tragically? Here's hoping Kanye West and Justin Bieber buy a Porsche Carrera GT sometime soon.

I know no one's said it here, but you all go to different sites I'm sure so this vent will apply. Is anyone else here sick of this being called a 'tragedy'? 100mph crash ends in death, I cannot see a way this isn't their own fault.
