His girlfriend is not in the bed next to him,they have just had a fight,noise coming from toilet

Hope the selfish bastard tops himself in prison,of course thats saying he does time...

I honestly think he was telling the truth.
As i said in the other thread....
every post and thread in here and other forums only looked at the scenario from the outside of the toilet
Visualise it from inside the toilet
lets just say for argument sake, that Reeva did go to toilet and he wasnt aware she was in there.
Next minute she is hearing Oscar screaming "get out of my house" "Reeva call the police!" Now if you were inside that toilet and you heard your partner screaming out for someone to get out, instinct would be to be as quiet as possible and lock the toilet" if he is telling the truth then his scenario fits in with his version
Reeva was probably panicked hearing Oscar screaming and thats even why she was crouched down squeezing behind the magazine rack.. she heard screams from Oscar, she had no idea what was going on outside the toilet - for all she knew, she may have thought someone was out there.
I just cant understand even if they were fighting, why would you hide in a small room like the toilet. No room to escape really.
I would have kept running downstairs.
I have seen tons of trials that were aired and I dont think anyone can fake his despair and regret - no one can fake the tone in his voice
The prosecution version did not make sense
Oscar although jagged in some places, fits in with "reeva side" of the scenario..
try it imagine it from inside the toilet hearing your partner scream and no way of knowing what was going on the outside.

I dont care about Oscar, nor a fan. I havent heard about him much until t his case. Yes he does deserve punishment for being so negligent but I dont think he set out to murder her. There are 1000 of other ways to murder someone and get away with it

She wasn't crouched down anywhere. She was standing in front of the door when the first shot hit her in the hip. This is agreed upon by the prosecution and the defense.

So why didn't she call the police? She had he phone. Your scenario was gone over thoroughly in court. I don't believe it. It doesnt make sense. Why was the front panel of the spa bath beaten in? Why was there a pair of jeans on the ground outside the toilet window? Why were there air rifle pellet holes in the bedroom door?

I could go on all day. Not one person I've spoken to who has watched the entire trial thinks he's telling the truth.

I dont believe judge Masipa believes him either, but with the burden of proof on the prosecution there just wasn't enough evidence to prove it beyond a reasonable doubt.

Also, nobody (including the prosecution) ever implied that he planbed on killing her. The prosecution case was that he did it in a fit of rage, which fits the other evidence.

And also, I've been in the same situation and hid in the only place I coukd lock -the toilet.

i think he did it, but wasnt "aware" what he was doing.

he didnt get it that she is gone forever if he acts like that. borderline style rage, i think he belongs in a prison or mental institute
