Re: Nick Hogan's Friend, John Graziano After The Accident
So, John gets in his accident and becomes an existing bag of chemicals. Then his (and Michael's dad) gets 10 year jail sentence for trying to have the mom killed. She maintains he was abusive for years, everyone else maintains he went nutty over the whole thing. Then you have Michael, who is killed in a car accident. The mom keeps hosting fundraisers for all sorts of things such as some sort of school in Africa for kids, but has yet to register the charity. In other words, she's been pocketing all the cash these fundraisers keep getting for her. Vets organizations have ran away. Early this year, the driver in Michael's accident pleaded guilty and got a 4 year jail time. Now, Michael's death is a bit pertinent to why everyone is up in arms over Nick's sentence for John. Michael DID die (he was declared brain dead, my theory is that he didn't get VA care so it wasn't paid for thus she pulled the plug whereas John's treatments are fully covered or he'd be mush in a corner too). Not only that but he had prior convictions. Nick had a few speeding tickets but nothing else. Bosley's BAC was 3x Nick's too. The charges went from murder for Bosley to reckless driving - who also ran a red light to initiate the crash - for Nick Hogan because of the seat belt issue. Michael's autopsy injuries: "According to the autopsy report, Graziano’s injuries included subdural hematoma, skull fracture, clavicle fracture, left femur fracture, left tibia fracture and dissection aorta." Bosley had a seat belt on, Michael didn't - thus putting the seat belt responsibility on Michael in this case too. Here are the interior and head on shots in Michael's crash that I mentioned we didn't have the last time I posted in the thread. So even in this case, he walked with 4 years jail, 10 years probation and lost his license permanently. |

Re: Nick Hogan's Friend, John Graziano After The Accident
Yes, typical sentence for this kind of incident for first time offenders actually. Nick Hogan being a minor at the time also helped with a bit lighter sentencing. It was pretty clearly demonstrated that a seat belt would have saved John from any head injuries, but also would have likely resulted in maybe a few scratches. John's family asked for a minimum of 1 year so even they weren't pushing for long term incarceration. He did 8 months and several years probation, 500 hours community service, lost his license for 3 years (with the potential to lose it permanently for any other moving violations) and several types of alcohol education classes. |

Re: Nick Hogan's Friend, John Graziano After The Accident
The doctors were testing to see what kind of nerve damage he has. Why is everyone so hard on Nick? Yes street racing or drag racing is dangerous and stupid, I'm sure Nick would have rather it didn't happen. I'm also sure his passenger friend was having a good time and supportive of Nick's actions. It's always so much easier to point the dirty end of the stick when there's a popular opinion than to actually think about how the event went down. |

Re: Nick Hogan's Friend, John Graziano After The Accident
Mainly because of nicks attitude towards the incident afterwards. Go listen to the jailhouse tape of nick talking to his mother and tell me that he isn't a self centred little douchbag. The only thing nick seemed concerned about was his tv show and himself. |

Re: Nick Hogan's Friend, John Graziano After The Accident
If I were responsible for doing this to someone I don't think I could live with myself. Nick Hogan is living the high life and has never really been made to pay for what he did. A few months in jail is not appropriate for doing this to someone. Their whole family is chock full of assholes.
