New Video of the 911 WTC Towers Collapsing
New video has emerged from the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks, showing in detail the collapse of two World Trade Center towers. The recording was made by a Japanese photographer using a professional camera from the roof of one of the buildings, but was lost for 23 years. This is now the only high-quality video of the collapse that demonstrates the scale of the tragedy, which claimed almost 3,000 lives. The number of wounded exceeded 6,000, and only 12 people were rescued from the rubble. |

When you heat steel with fire, and the temper changes, the steel loses strength. Once ONE floor collapses, it lands on the next floor down, which collapses, and then so on until the entire building is laying on the ground. And YES, an jet airliner wing can cut right through steel beams. Wings are incredibly heavy, and moving incredibly fast. They are like a karate chop to the structure. The guy who designed the Twin Tower buildings said he wondered how the buildings lasted so long after the fires started. He watched BOTH of the towers fall that day, from another high-rise building down the street.  |

Amazing how new footage is still being found and uploaded. Great quality for 2001 too, but imagine if we had todays technology back then. The footage with todays technology would be incredible.
