On August 9, 1977 in Washington state the King County Police Department's Major Crimes Unit received a call at 7:45 am from the manager of South Park Marina about a murdered woman found on-site. This discovery marked the beginning of the investigation into Morris Frampton.

Eyewitness Sharon Adams reported disturbing sounds and a female voice uttering a haunting phrase, "don’t, I’m already dead," which led to the discovery of the victim's body. The victim, identified as Rosemary Stuart, a local with a history of prostitution, had been brutally tortured and assaulted with a rebar.

Further investigation linked Frampton to another gruesome murder of Iantha Buchanan Peters, whose body was found in a construction site, posed in a degrading manner post-mortem. The positioning of Peters' and Stuart's bodies indicated a disturbing pattern of humiliation in death.

A key break in the case came from a service station attendant, who reported a blood-covered man driving a blood-stained green 1969 Dodge Charger. This lead allowed police to track down and arrest Frampton, linking him to the crimes through forensic evidence.

In 1978, Frampton was convicted and initially sentenced to death for Stuart's murder, later commuted to 50 years to life in prison. Despite being acquitted of Peters' murder, authorities strongly believe in his involvement. Decades later, DNA evidence linked Frampton to the 1976 murder of Agnes Myra Williams, leading to an additional conviction in 2006.

The body here was found nude. She had been strangled. Her inner thighs were bruised because the killer used a blunt instrument to rape her. Her left arm had been completely broken.


A piece of rebar type weapon was found near the body that matched the wounds. it was a pipe with a rebar that was used as the main weapon. The killer left impressions of the tires at the crime scene and some yellow type substance. He also hit a post with his car. The evidence left at the scene was enough to convict the person if found.


In the previous month of July 1977 another woman had been viciously murdered in the Washington state area. her body was found on a local construction site. She had suffered a massive trauma from beatings and her skull had been crushed as well as being strangled. the killer then posed her to cause shock to anyone finding her. her skirt was pulled up over her body and over her face, her shirt had been ripped open. She was identified by her belongings in her purse. She was also a prostitute.


The murder happened in 2 different jurisdictions but both detectives working the cases decided to work together on them.

The killer was quickly caught as a gas station attendant that serviced the offenders car noticed several weird things with it and the owner. First the man was all bloody and went to wash off in the restroom and the tail lights were broken from the inside (broken by one of the victims) The attendant later saw press on the news of the offence and in detail described the offender and the car. Police then searched the restroom finding blood and hair that matched one of the victims.

The car appeared to belong to one of the victims, this was proved when searching one of the victim's home. they also found that one of the victim's child had been handed over to social services when the mother failed to show up. they then knew what type of car they were looking for. all types of these cars were then watched for carefully and in the middle of August 2 police followed a suspicious car. when the driver committed a driving offense they pulled him over. They found damage to the car that fit the description and compared the driver to a drawn up picture, they had their guy.

The car was hauled in and examined by crime technicians, they collected massive amounts of evidence. the spongy yellow substance found at the scene was also in the trunk and one of the victim's blood was found. Both victim's blood was discovered in the car and there was damage to the paint work which matched where the driver crashed at the marina.

The state of Washington is a haven for some of the most notorious serial killers in America, such as, Ted Bundy, Gary Ridgeway, George Russell, just to name a few.
