Mobster Tony Spilotro Autopsy Photos
Anthony "Tony" Spilotro, a mobster associated with the Chicago Outfit, was found murdered along with his brother Michael Spilotro on June 22, 1986. Their bodies were discovered in a shallow grave in a cornfield near Bensenville, Illinois. Tony Spilotro, born in Chicago, was known for his violent methods and involvement in various illegal activities, including loan sharking, extortion, and murder. In the 1970s and early 1980s, he was sent to Las Vegas to oversee the Outfit's casino skimming operations. His character and activities in Las Vegas later became the inspiration for the film "Casino," directed by Martin Scorsese. The circumstances of the Spilotro brothers' deaths were indicative of a mob hit. They had been lured to a meeting in a suburb of Chicago, then beaten and strangled to death. The murders were believed to be a result of internal conflicts and power struggles within the Chicago Outfit, as well as growing concerns that Tony Spilotro's high-profile behavior in Las Vegas was drawing too much law enforcement attention to the organization's activities.  ·  ·  ·  ·  · |

Michael Spilotro Tony Spilotro's brother was play as a FBI agent in one part of Magnum PI tv series called "Thicker than Blood." in 1981.

I actually sought out and FOUND the exact location he was buried in the cornfield. Also went to his official grave all last year.
