~ Obviously the little punk couldn't afford the shirt that said, 'Darwin, Natural Selection', so he had to settle for the self-made marker-inscribed one, 'Natural Selection'.
~ However as he was trying to achieve the, 'Darwin, Natural Selection' logo, which he failed to completely remember, he thought his teacher would surely know it, but she didn't know what he meant when repeatedly asked, to which he then got frustraed so he shot her, then himself when he also failed to remember it.

It is a physiological response.

It's the result of both getting central nervous system shots (Very likely the medulla oblongata was destroyed in both).

The brain shuts down and there is no motor reaction, the body falls straight down, they were standing and as they fell down, their butts went down striking the floor, from there their torso fell backward, the knees gave way and ended up like that.

It may seem strange, but had they been kneeling when they were shot, then their bodies would be lying flat on their backs due to the straightening of the body after the brain no longer controls the reflexes of the spinal chord, their legs would have straightened stiff after being shot and out of the kneeling position.
But because they were standing the stiffening of the body did not change their standing position, just their torso fell butt first.

Hope that clarifies why they ended up like that.

Very informative thank you. When people said they were kneeling that made sense....except why would the shooter fall in the "kneeling" pose....so thank you I appreciate it
