The mother who shared her text messages with her son, it was sadly confirmed he died.

He died at least 50 minutes after the asshat went into the club, further cementing my questions and issues about their insistence on police deciding not to put their own lives in danger and instead, let the public die.

The first text to his mother, from the bathroom, was at 2:06am.

After a flurry of texts, she asked if the police were with him. He responded:
“Still here in bathroom. He has us. They need to come get us.”
“Hurry. He’s in the bathroom with us.”

She texted, “Is the man in the bathroom wit u?”

“He’s a terror.”

“Yes.”

His last text, telling her the gunman was in the bathroom was at 2:51am. We probably won't know how many in the bathroom died for a few days, but it's a safe bet, he wasn't alone - everyone was in the bathroom, and mowed down almost an hour after it started, while police just sat outside...

Glad to see I wasn't the only one getting annoyed. Now that we're back on track in regards to posting things that actually matter, let's put a little more effort in posting proper updates, shall we? As we wait for actual crime scene material here's an updated list of the victims so far. No matter who's to blame, be it religion, easy gun access, radicalization, etc.. let's not forget 50 human beings, who's only crime was dancing with the ones they loved, were murdered in cold blood so I hope that they can at least rest in peace far away from this shitty ass rotten planet.

Coming from a Christian...

First off, Muslims EVERYWHERE condemn these acts every single day, from individuals to orgs representing the Muslim community. All it takes is a simple Google search.

Secondly, why should they have to? How many times did we expect Christians apologize for the mass shooting at the abortion clinic? Not to mention world history (the KKK, the Holocaust, US slavery...). People have killed and oppressed in the name of Christianity MANY times throughout history. But we understand that extremism and cruelty doesn't truly represent Christianity, just like radical Islamic terrorism doesn't truly represent Islam, as proved by the tens of millions of completely peaceful Muslims across the world.
