Re: Mass Shooting Inside Pulse Nightclub, Orlando Terrorist Shooting
Missed the President's speech. I take it that climate change, right-wing rhetoric, Christians, and angry self-firing guns were responsible?

It worries me. Pride coming ... all my LGBT pals, please be safe. Just be aware of your surroundings. Some assholes are out there somewhere scheming a plan to get their fame. Be safe. |

Saw that earlier as well. Really unsettling and I've seen a lot as a former EMT in Orlando. |

For all the asshats that are blaming this on the lack of gun control in the USA, I have one thing to say. The same thing happened in Paris, to a worse degree, and the guns used were BANNED in Paris. You can NEVER stop a determined person from exercising evil. All you can do is hope that there are armed good guys close by that can stop the slaughter when it starts. The day cocaine and crack are not longer available for sale on the streets because they are illegal, is the day I'll start to believe in gun control. |

Re: Mass Shooting Inside Pulse Nightclub, Orlando Terrorist Shooting
Even if they introduce gun laws now, there is no regulating the guns that are already owned, operated and sold by anyone in the USA. It would become a black market and people would profit large, plus if word got out about impending 'gun laws' there's no doubt in my mind there would be riots, shootings, mass protests just to name some. Unfortunately I think USA is at a stage where everyone must own one to feel safe and/or protected.
