Macho Camacho Dead in a Casket
Hector "Macho" Camacho, a Puerto Rican professional boxer, died on November 24, 2012, after being shot in a drive-by attack in Bayamón, Puerto Rico. Camacho, born on May 24, 1962, in Bayamón, was 50 years old at the time of his death. He was declared brain dead after the shooting and died a few days later after being removed from life support. The incident occurred on November 20, 2012, when Camacho and a friend were sitting in a car outside a bar. An unidentified assailant approached the vehicle and opened fire, striking Camacho in the head and neck. His friend was also killed in the attack.
