The one where you see sim side on is a known fake. The only ones that are real are the ones through the window where you see his hand and the top of his hair. The only damage was internal and he had blood dripped from his left ear, his face and head were not damaged. The man who found him literally thought it was a mannequin, there was that little mess. The crime scene photos have not actually been developed, and they certainly aren't online.

Yep, it's staged and shopped. They have set it up to have all the same patterns etc, but note the hair is not even the same as in the pic we know is real ie fanned up above his head.

Another of those pics is not real, either. The one that shows his full head. It's been extensively photoshopped and debunked by an avid Nirvana fan who explains it so credibly that I definitely believe him. I also think it might be on one of those sites like snopes. In the mean time, I want to see Layne Staley's death pictures. He is my favorite singer and AIC is my favorite band. Even though I want to remember him as tall and strong and with that incredible voice, my macabre curiosity wants to see what happens to a person who dies from a heroin overdose and is not found until two weeks later....in front of a still flickering tv with a loaded syringe in his hand. I thought you all might understand. |
