I do hold animals lives higher than most humans. I mean they are not out there killing one another...all they really want is affection.

Yep, I love my dog way more than 99% of people. How can you not love that face? I've had him for 15 years (stole him from an abusive home when he was about a year old, he weighed 6 pounds and the cunt burned him with cigarrettes) almost as long as I've had my kid. The dog is definately the more well behaved of the two.
