Re: Inside the Car from Dale Earnhardt's Crash
He crashed head on into a wall with 160mph. Just because he wasn't pulling a Gordon Smiley doesn't mean that there was no damage, obviously there was. I see what you mean, many others say the same but to me this was a horrible crash, maybe just not to most other viewers. There are some gruwesome non fatal accidents with drivers walking away from it with just a scratch. Some say how the hell did they survive but Dale didn't? My bet : high speed, a concrete wall, bad luck, bad angle and bad protection. He never knew about 9/11 thats weird imo but i am weird so hey maybe its just me lol |

Someone got paid off huge! Funny how they fixed a lot of issues after the fact. But this one was more Earnhardt's fault than NASCAR's.

Re: Inside the Car from Dale Earnhardt's Crash
The big curly head of hair on the right of the picture? That surely isn't Dale's. They didn't photograph him dead in the car and even if they did, he didn't have a head of hair like that!

Re: Inside the Car from Dale Earnhardt's Crash
All I have to see is the broken seat belt. The force necessary to do that is like 1000 times greater than what human flesh and bone can withstand.- Results similar to putting the guy in a blender.

Re: Inside the Car from Dale Earnhardt's Crash
From my understanding Dale had most of his torso and lower extremities injuries because of the prior -left- impact ( car #36 ) with his body and head prepositioned, leaning to the right.
