Unger, whose real name was Shannon Spruill, was found dead following a period of concern over her mental health. Her death has been officially ruled a suicide by a medical examiner. On the Instagram live video she streamed Wednesday night just before she died. She talks about concussions she suffered during her pro-wrestling career (which forced her to retire) that she warns future generations not to do "stupid shit like me" The last 2 videos shown are her being injured in the ring. |

She suffered multiple concussions while wrestling for TNA and they told her to work hurt and that she'd be ok. Then they refused to pay any of her hospital bills despite this. The first clip was of a badly trained wrestler slamming down on her giving her a concussion and the second is of Abyss chokeslamming her on barbed wire which also resulted in a concussion. The fucked part is, the terrible camera work missed the fucking impact.  She should herself in the chest to keep her brain intact so they can check it for CTE. The same condition Chris Benoit had that many agree caused him to murder her wife and son before committing suicide. I hope we hear back if she did or not. RIP Daffney, you deserved way better.  |
