Robinson, adept at adopting various personas online, lured his victims through chat rooms, presenting himself as a philanthropist offering employment or assistance. His charm and deceptive offers ensnared multiple women, leading to their untimely disappearances. The investigation into these disappearances revealed a horrifying pattern, ultimately unmasking Robinson's true nature.

In 2000, law enforcement officials discovered the bodies of several women in barrels on his property in Kansas and Missouri, unearthing the grim reality of his crimes. Convicted in 2002, Robinson received multiple death sentences and life imprisonments, marking a chilling end to a saga that highlighted the perils of the then-nascent online world.
