The unclothed girl was the one who could've gotten away. I suspect they left her naked to disrespect her because she stayed. I also suspect she was killed more brutally, since it has been reported that both had their throats slit, but only one of them was nearly decapitated.

Appx 45 crime scene photos were shown to the gallery today in court proceedings. Those who saw the leaks and then saw these, say the leaks were likely edited (for god knows what reason).

Speculation is that, due to being shown to the full gallery, these photos are a part of the public record and will likely be FOIAed at some point (for better or for worse).

Of note: Libby was covered in blood, with blood on her face that seemed to indicate she was either killed while upside down, or laying down but slanting backward. Blood runs from her neck injury, up her face. Abby was dressed in Libby’s clothes and the lack of blood on her was very noteable, especially in comparison to Libby. Her remains have been described as “pristine.” Each girl was covered in a few large branches, with a particularly large, thick branch over Libby’s left shoulder. While an exceptionally gorey scene, there did not seem to be enough blood present to account for both girls having been killed at the spot they were found in.
