Death Pictures From The Tawni Lee Mazzone Case
Nearly a decade after her disappearance in January 1999, the mystery surrounding Tawni Lee Mazzone, a 17-year-old from Phoenix, was finally resolved. Mazzone vanished shortly after leaving her mother's home, leading to years of uncertainty for her family. The breakthrough in the case came unexpectedly when Mazzone's brother, Mike, identified a postmortem photo on the Maricopa County Medical Examiner's website. The photo was part of a case involving an unidentified young woman who died in 1999. Recognition of a distinctive tattoo helped confirm the woman as Mazzone. Online community Websleuths.com played a crucial role in piecing together Tawni's background. Her aunt, Tammy, connected with a user on the site, sharing details about Mazzone's life and struggles as a teenager. This collaborative effort helped piece together the circumstances of her disappearance. The Medical Examiner's Office eventually confirmed the match between Mazzone and the unidentified woman, known as Case 99-305, through dental and fingerprint records. |

Re: Death Pictures From The Tawni Lee Mazzone Case
Her mother and her will always have a special bond and her mother didn't know what had happened to her for nine years I can't even imagine. Also I wonder if she fell out of the speeding car trying to escape someone attempting to hurt her... The whole case is just terribly sad and tragic..
