Sergey Golovkin, also known as "The Fisher" or "The Boa," was a notorious Russian serial killer who committed his crimes during the late 1980s and early 1990s. He was convicted of the brutal murders of 11 boys and young men, making him one of the most infamous criminals in Russian history.

Golovkin's modus operandi involved luring his victims, who were typically young boys or teenagers, under the pretense of showing them rare stamps, coins, or offering them employment. Once he had gained their trust, he would take them to a secluded area, often his garage, where he would proceed to torture and murder them. In 1994, Sergey Golovkin was tried and found guilty of multiple counts of murder. He was sentenced to death, a sentence that was later commuted to life imprisonment when Russia placed a moratorium on the death penalty.

Remember seeing a documentary about a russian serial killer and one of the detectives said russia used to deny they have serial killers because that was an american thing.
