Notice the red tissue stained section of the steering wheel in the 3 o' clock section. (This would be the top center of the the steering wheel if centered correctly). Basically his face went into the steering wheel. He and his then rookie son were two of the only drivers that would were the old school open face helmet.

Also his signature style "bubble"goggles at the bottom of the picture on the floor. There are other photos of the car out there showing tissue and blood stains, but cant find them now. Add any info you have.

Very very impressive find, been waiting on these photos have you seen others I was watchin this race live when he wrecked didn't look that bad. I heard seatbelt broke. Couldn't believe what was actually happening!
