Re: Crime Scene Pictures From The Black Dahlia Murder

~ Whoever killed her, was initially asked by her to help her become a model. And that's exactly what the killer did, prepped her to model for a crime scene.
~ Back in the 1940's, lying, cheating, being deceptive or a poser, etc. was normal for people to do for getting away with something, and if it worked then there was no guilt associated with it, because that meant it was supposed to happen that way.
~ The fake ruby glass ring Elizabeth Short carried with her at all times was a symbol of her expectant future fame, which would one day turn into a real ruby ring, inspired by The Wizard of Oz movie, made in 1939.
~ She always claimed to have been married to a major who died in the war, which became/was a movie role she always aspired to be, & was a fame support role for her usual black themed attire.
~ The Black Dahlia tattoo was also a fame support accessory to her much aspired role of a widow of a major who died in WWII.
~ At first Club Promoter Mark Hansen was impressed by Elizabeth Short's character, until she stole his address book. Of which afterwards I think he may have hired someone to kill her, because it was that important. Since it contained many a name of his pimping's clients.
~ The address book may have contained the name of the hired killer who most likely worked at a morgue & had medical education & experience.
~ The Doc written in the address book, in Elizabeth Short's handwriting, could have been the hired killer who confessed in the phone call to the police, but was then never heard from again, on advice from Mark Hansen.
~ And Mark Hansen may have never got caught as having hired the killer, although he later committed suicide out of guilt. Because he thought he would most likely be suspected & pointed out by the hired killer aptly named The Doc, & who may also have been blackmailing him, because the killer did possess Mark Hansen's address book, as shown when he mailed items that were amongst Elizabeth Short's belongings to the police, as evidential proof that he did it.
~ As is usual amongst criminals, there is no dignity, if one falls & the other is involved, they will both turn on each other. But in this case one got away with it, The Doc, (George Hodel).

~ I know who killed the Black Dahlia, my own father:

Re: Crime Scene Pictures From The Black Dahlia Murder

I think we have a better chance of solving the Zodiac case over this one. This happened way back in 1947 and there has been NO concrete suspects in all this time.

I think the most believable suspect that a lot of Dahlia enthusiasts agree on is George Hodel pictured below.
