Re: Crime Scene Pictures From The Aurora Batman Movie Shooting
He was a hardcore computer nerd. Notice the after-market CPU cooler he used in rigging the explosives in his home? He really should be exiled to a turd-world country where there are no computers or the internet. That would be the ultimate punishment. Instead, he'll live a comfortable life in prison, with plenty of internet porn to jerk off to, forums to post his wacky ideas on, and all the food he can become morbidly obese with. Disgusting. Wish I could carve that smile permanently into his face with a rusty tin lid. I think I might change my username on this forum to "Cruel and Unusual." |

Re: Crime Scene Pictures From The Aurora Batman Movie Shooting
I have a friend who is schizophrenic, and he's perfectly lucid most of the time - he'd have absolutely no problem planning something like this, his job basically requires him to be able to make and carry out very detailed plans and comply with lots of boring regulations. He has no issue with details whatsoever. He also has nowhere near the intellectual capacity of James Holmes. I'm in no doubt whatsoever that he's also extremely mentally ill, particularly when he's off his medication. He just happens to be more of a danger to himself than other people. |

Re: Crime Scene Pictures From The Aurora Batman Movie Shooting
Adding one.... 6)Why did the mental health system fail this man and society? In this country, I believe mental illness isn't looked upon as a real physical illness. If a person is exhibiting signs of cancer, that individual is treated. If a person is exhibiting signs of mental illness (James Holmes was evaluated by more than 3 mental health professionals long before the shootings occured), he's deemed a low life and told to quit being a jerk. Hell, alot of insurance policies don't cover mental health services. That's the problem America!!! Shootings and other tragedies will continue until this country addresses the root cause. Our mental health system. Not guns! |

Re: Crime Scene Pictures From The Aurora Batman Movie Shooting
Why do we never see any pictures of victims? Also it's guaranteed that place had security cameras. Maybe they will release those videos soon? If you have security cameras then you have one on each entrance and exit or at least covering each entrance and exit.

Re: Crime Scene Pictures From The Aurora Batman Movie Shooting
Of course they had security cameras. The only video released as of now, taken inside the theater, was the one I posted of James Holmes entering the theater, purchasing his ticket, and then you see people fleeing the theater about 20 minutes later. They won't release the video of the victims bodies, or the pictures. They never released videos or pics of the victims in Columbine, Virginia Tech, Sandy Hook, or countless other mass shootings. Most of the time, pics of the shooters bodies will be released, like in the Columbine case. Sometimes they don't even release pics of the shooters body, like with Adam Lanza in the Sandy Hook case. I don't see the Colorado courts releasing the videos or pics of the victims anytime soon, if ever. |

Re: Crime Scene Pictures From The Aurora Batman Movie Shooting
I completely agree. I love crime scene pics, as horrible as that sounds. I would rather see the dead killers than the victims as well. I really, really want to see the photos of Adam Lanza's body. Apparently, he shot himself in the bottom portion of his face. I cant remember if it was the left or the right side, but that seems like a really stupid spot to shoot if you are trying to kill yourself. |
