Crime Scene Photos From The Murder of Peter Porco
The murder case of Peter Porco, which occurred in Albany, New York, centers around the violent death of Peter Porco, a law clerk, and the critical wounding of his wife, Joan Porco, in their home in Delmar. The incident occurred on November 15, 2004, and quickly gained media attention due to its gruesome nature and the subsequent arrest and conviction of their son, Christopher Porco. Porco, then a college student, was accused of attacking his parents with an ax while they slept. The case garnered significant attention partly because of the seemingly normal background of the family and the shocking nature of the crime. After a high-profile trial in 2006, Christopher Porco was found guilty of second-degree murder and attempted murder. He was sentenced to 50 years to life in prison. The investigation into the murder revealed a complex web of motives, including financial difficulties and strained family relationships. The prosecution argued that Christopher Porco's mounting debts and his fear of being cut off financially by his parents led to the attack. The defense, however, contested the evidence and the investigation methods used by the police. The trial was notable for its use of forensic evidence, including security footage and GPS data from Porco's car, which played a critical role in the prosecution's case. Additionally, the trial brought to light the controversial use of a nod from Peter Porco, allegedly identifying his son as the attacker, despite medical experts testifying that such a response was unlikely due to his injuries. I’ve been trying desperately to find more crime scene photos of this because it is fascinating but haven’t had much luck beyond these. I also couldn’t find any threads on it here so I figure I would share what I find. |

And his mom stood by him? Wow, a mother’s love. I think I could still love and forgive my 2 adult kids and 3 grandsons of most anything. I pray I never have to know or feel what this mother feels.

Re: Crime Scene Photos From The Murder of Peter Porco
y'know that there have been studies on so-called "psycho eyes"? during one study at a prison, psychopathy researchers examined a group of normal incarcerated criminals, & a group of known psychopathic criminals. during the study, they showed the members of each group an array of disturbing real-world images, such as pictures of mutilated bodies, gorey crime scenes, vicious dogs, & other recognizably “scary” images. the researchers watched the reactions of each person, & discovered that the normal criminals reacted with the anticipated physical response: their pupils enlarged while looking at the images. but the psychopathic members showed no physical change: their pupils did not dilate. people's pupils will dilate when they see something they find upsetting or offensive, due to the adrenaline caused by the "fight, flight, or freeze" response. it helps the person focus on the situation in front of them so that they can get ready for battle or to escape. they will also get bigger when people see something that excites them, which is one of the reasons why professional poker players often look at their opponents' eyes to find out what's going on inside their heads. psychopaths are seemingly unmoved by stressful situations, frightening events & threatening encounters. you can literally see it in their eyes. :D |

Had never heard of this. Amazing how Peters brain kept him functioning for 16 hours after the attack. Absolutely fascinating theory. And I also know that if my kids or grandkids ever did anything like this to anyone I would NOT try and protect them. Guilty is guilty. ![]() |

Re: Crime Scene Photos From The Murder of Peter Porco
And look at all these ppl comforting this piece of shit at his hearing! Unreal. The older I become the more I realize post-war America was the greatest generation this country has probably ever seen. Even my Gen-X comrades would agree…this guy is the last person in that courtroom deserving of a comforting hug from his Mom. What’s woman…hope she isn’t giving him a dime tho.
