What's weird is that Eric and Dylan, after shooting all those kids, went into a "quiet period". They walked around aimlessly, making eye contact with many surviving students but did not shoot them. It's just a theory,but I'm guessing after all their rage was spent shooting the kids who represented everything they hated about school,they were at a 'what do we do now?" phase.In that moment they realized there was no going back after that-they had only two options-life imprisonment or taking their own lives.When you realize your life is at an end,it would make you go quiet.The Molotov cocktail & pipe bombs were probably the last expressions of retaliation at some nameless rage.Then,having prepared for death,did the deed.Just my opinion anyways.

I've never understood why some parents don't let their kids change schools when the school authorities fail to stop them from being bullied.My sister was bullied and threatened with sexual violence at a free co-ed school,and once she switched to a small Catholic girls school,life improved for her immeassurably.It was a financial struggle for my single parent mother(though fees were a LOT less than they are now) but we all thought it was worth it if it made life bearable for her.For some reason,American parents seem really reluctant to change their kid's schools.I don't care if it's seen as a cop-out:if it solves the problem and life can be a bit peaceful,who cares?Perhaps a liberal arts school that allowed kids who were a bit unusual to thrive (+ psych counselling) might have helped Eric & Dylan.We'll never know for sure.Certainly when I got to art college it was the biggest relief of my life to find other arty,nervy weirdos like me.
