Re: Casey Anthony Evidence & Crime Scene Photos
Report: Casey will live in disguise after release Updated: Tuesday, 12 Jul 2011, 11:18 PM EDT Published : Tuesday, 12 Jul 2011, 11:05 PM EDT TAMPA - The foreman of the jury that acquitted Casey Anthony said he was "stunned" when the prosecution rested its case. He criticized prosecutor Jeff Ashton for his behavior and comments during the trial. Juror #11 said he took a vote at the beginning of the deliberations, and ten of the twelve jurors were ready to acquit Casey Anthony of the murder charges. In an interview with Greta Van Susteren of FOX News, the foreman said there was not enough evidence to fill in the "gray areas" that he had questions about. "I thought there would be more," the juror said. The foreman also singled out prosecutor Jeff Ashton for his behavior at various points in the trial. He said he didn't like the way Ashton smirked during the defense's closing arguments. He also said he didn't like Ashton's reference to "pigs in a blanket" while questioning a defense expert about his experiments in decomposition. The foreman's identity was concealed during the interview because of his concerns about his personal safety in wake of death threats against jurors for acquitting Anthony. The foreman said he took a pre-vote of the jurors on the verdict when they were handed the case. He said the initial vote was 10 jurors for "not guilty," and two for "guilty." He said of the two guilty votes, only one was adamant—but that juror eventually changed his or her mind. The foreman explained that the jury initially voted on counts 4-7, because they were what he called "no-brainers." He said there was direct evidence Casey Anthony lied to police, and the jurors voted quickly and unanimously on those counts. After the jurors voted to acquit Anthony, and the verdict was delivered in court, the foreman described said the group walked out of the courtroom, and were extremely emotional. He said jurors were crying, some sobbing even, after the ordeal they had been through. He said that was why they didn't want to come out and speak to the media after the verdict. |

Re: Casey Anthony Evidence & Crime Scene Photos
You know, it seems more and more people are losing their common sense and becoming conspiracy theorist. Is too much TV, movies, fantasies that can make people believe any bizarre story? I think allot of people need a dose of reality. |
