Right, it seems twitter is reporting old stuff over and over so I decided to listen to the live feed myself. It sounds like the police are trying to push communications to cellphones. |

Still listening to the scanner. Too many news crews, poor guys. I'd be pissed if I was on the trail of a highly dangerous suspect only to have the media be all up in my face.

Yeah. I was listening to the feed about 30 minutes before the MIT officer was shot, but didn't record until much later. BPD Officers were advised to cease communications by cellphone for quite a while.

It's been a game of cat and mouse all night. They had caught bother suspects at one point, but one managed to get away. Early reports stated that it was believed that the suspect who fled had some type of explosive on him.

They say they've been in America for about a year but if you google "Dzhokhar Tsarnaev" all that really comes up is reports of his 2011 high school scholarship. I think he's been stateside a wee bit longer than they're saying.
