DR Gods, can we please have our edit function back? Above post should have said "behind and to the right of the lady in the hot pink top, with the same khaki pants and hat." |

Re: Boston Marathon Explosion Pictures & Video
I don't think so. well it all depends on how it was set off, by timer or cell phone? because if it's by timer, then i wouldn't think the 1st suspect would head down the street in the same direction where he 2nd bomb went off.. it looks like that guy is wearing a red jacket maybe and is with someone? I wonder if these suspects took the T or went to a car. If they rode the MBTA into town.. I hope people remember. |

Re: Boston Marathon Explosion Pictures & Video
Couple of thoughts on the new bomb gif by Apoc. It's the series that is in the prior gif I posted of the guy in black sprinting away and zoomed in well. So whomever put it together did a decent job. First: I thought from the start he was the bomber. He is at the right place at the right time and he sprints before anyone else knows what is happening and he doesn't just get out of Dodge, he seems to be running with purpose. I can't say I might not react the same but his reaction seems just too fast for not knowing what was going on. My first thought on the gif is - I was wrong when I said the clear close pic of her screaming was probably the most haunting thing I've seen. That gif seeing her clearly and up close is far worse. I'm not joking when I say that face will stick with me a long time - and we've all seen some pretty sad/messed up/crazy stuff here. You can also see in the very last frame where she puts her arm around her friend. It's quick but if you are staring right at the two, you can catch in the last frame. That matches it up with the photo of her head being up we saw from the other side. So, IMO, that gives me a little hope she wasn't conscious for several minutes, but rather - maybe a minute at most. My second thought is that it is not just unbelievable, it's a damned contradiction to reality that Jeff Bauman lived. There is no reason whatsoever he should have survived the blast beyond maybe 30 seconds. That he was aware and holding his legs several minutes later while cowboy ran him to an ambulance is nothing short of defying the laws of survival. I know he is in a coma right now and that he had to be brought back during the surgery but how the hell did he make it there to begin with?!?! The photos of the blood on the ground are majority if not almost all his. My third thought is that the black woman behind Jeff is far more closer than I thought and the fact she didn't throw up with bits of him on her with his bones and flesh in her face, props to her. I hope she isn't traumatized for life by the sight but I doubt it. It's different to look at photos like we do - she was inches from it and probably had bits of him on her. |

Re: Boston Marathon Explosion Pictures & Video
Gah, put me on the list of the edit function. I had a sentence in there but must have backspaced it that said: "I didn't buy into much of the other first photos of the suspects, but thanks to the large photo posted of the guy running away, my theory was disproved." |
