Is that the site where the media is saying the bag was in front of the barricades at the mailbox? I'd think this photo shows pretty clearly this bomb was behind it with the black blast marks visible. Which site was the pressure cooker found?

The bag/bomb whatever it is near the mailbox is at the 2nd bombing site.

The FBI have said they've identified two suspects.



It seems like the one with the cap matches the appearance of the guy seen running from the first blast. The other guy was pictured heading west to the second blast site, so I think that's going to be them.

You might be right because CNN just stated there are 2 men of interested in the photos.

Gross had more surgery today.

"Nicole: Two breaks in her left leg, an ankle fracture in her right, her skin torn, Achilles’ tendon severed.

Erika: Her left leg amputated below the knee, compound fracture in the right, a broken ankle. Bones in her right foot are broken."

Nicole Gross, 31, a personal trainer at Charlotte Athletic Club, was at the finish line with her husband Michael when the explosions went off; they were waiting for her mother to complete the 26.2-mile race. The couple was separated in the blast.

Michael was released from the hospital Tuesday after receiving treatment for burns suffered in the blast.

NBC Charlotte was told Michael is focusing now on his wife, Nicole, who is now recovering from surgery.

"As many of you have read and seen, Nicole Gross and Erika Brannock (Nicole's sister from Maryland) sustained severe injuries during the bombing of the Boston Marathon. Both Nicole and Erika’s injuries have required multiple surgeries. They remain hospitalized and anticipate long recoveries," the Gross family said in a statement.

Both women remain hospitalized. Brannock had her left leg amputated below the knee. Gross suffered a severed Achilles tendon and two broken legs.

Brothers Lose Legs In Boston Marathon Explosions (at the 2nd bomb site - near the mailbox)

A mother of five answered a phone call Monday to learn that two of her sons, who had traveled together to watch the Boston Marathon, would lose their legs.

Liz Norden told the Boston Globe that her 33- and 31-year-old sons were transported to Brigham and Women's Hospital and Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center respectively, both with leg burns that would require amputations.

Marc was with Paul and PJ Norden - 4 of 5 friends to lose limbs that day. Also near the mailbox. 1 of the friends had 70 nails in his leg from the blast.

On Monday, April 15th Marc Fucarile like so many others in New England, celebrated Patriots' Day by cheering on the amazing people that are Boston Marathoners. However, the local holiday and world-famous sports event ended tragically for Marc and his friends.

After the explosions at the finish line, he is now in the Intensive Care Unit at Mass General. His right leg has been amputated above the knee and he has first, second and third-degree burns on over half of his body. His left leg suffers from two fractures and shrapnel litters most of his body.
