Re: Boston Marathon Explosion Pictures & Video

I forgot to mention since it's not clear from the crops, those three guys seem to be standing about 3-5 metres west of the first blast area.

Also, it seems the EXIF times were exactly 12 hours out since the same camera catches the explosion at 2:50AM instead of PM, meaning these photos were taken between 12:07 and 12:13, approx 2 hours and 40 minutes prior to the explosion.

Some of these images are really compelling, especially the guy 4chan spotted with the white cap. I really think the police will find the culprit (or patsy?) with all those images available.

Another thing, in reference to the photo below. This is another event occurring during a drill or training exercise???

9/11 was during a massive training operation which caused all manner of confusion about validity of reported incidents.

7/7 took place during a emergency response training exercise.

Now I've been hearing from various sources that security at Boston seemed massively elevated and there were PA announcements informing people that it was an emergency response drill. People reported bomb-sniffing dogs, homeland security and pictured below, almost 3 hours prior to the bomb there was a Boston Police Special Operations team "parading" through the crowd.

I do find myself siding with the so called "truth movements" or conspiracy theorists. I just wish they sound less "preachy" and crazed when they present their information. "Loose Change" makes a lot of sense but it's also full of wild speculation. "7/7: Ripple Effect" makes a solid case but the narrator sounds like he's recruiting you into a cult.

I can't wait to see what the Boston Bomb "truther" documentary will be like.

The thruth movement is corrupted by religious idiots that flood the infopools with bullshit theories. And the real investigators have to deal with the insults that they are "wackos" "nutters" etc.

Re: Boston Marathon Explosion Pictures & Video

Accorsing to the doctor who brought her to the tent, Krystle Campbell had a faint pulse when they loaded her on the stretcher but by the time she got ot the tent she was dead.

http://bostonglobe.com/metro/2013/04...wBN/story.html

Allan Panter, 57, an emergency physician from Georgia, was waiting for his wife, who was about to cross the finish line. He had squeezed his way to the front of the crowd when the first bomb detonated.

“All the people around me took the force of the blast,” he said. “I was shielded by their bodies, which is why I didn’t have a scratch.”

A few feet away, he saw six or seven people “in a tangle of a mess,” with one man’s legs blown off and a woman with chest injuries who appeared to be on the verge of death.

With his ears still ringing from the blast and covered in blood, Panter helped apply a tourniquet and bandages to the man’s legs and then tried to resuscitate the woman by blowing into her mouth. Her eyes were open, but she was staring vacantly into the sky, sighing in agony.

“We brought her to the medical tent, and lost all pulse,” he said. “She was dead.”

"Six or so people went down right away on my left, mostly with leg injuries. One gentleman had both legs below the knee blown off," Dr. Allan Panter, a physician who witnessed the event, told ABC News. "One girl I treated, I could not find any obvious injury to her torso, but she arrested. She was between 24 and 30.

Re: Boston Marathon Explosion Pictures & Video

It's just kind or eye opening to see someone hours before being killed, happy and not a care in the world.
Makes me think of 9/11, that gorgeous, bluesky day. Now I can't see a beautiful blue sky around that time of year without thinking of it.

Re: Boston Marathon Explosion Pictures & Video

Definetaly not muslims, they´d taken credit for the bombing already. And they would´ve used plastic explosives = many more dead.

Re: Boston Marathon Explosion Pictures & Video

For those of you worried about the lack of care about the injured, I would look at the pics that have been posted, you will see that the most seriously injured were transported to ER's in order of priority. Take the red headed woman that somehow survived intact at GZ yet Jeff Bauman Jr. was above her and Krystal and her friend was next to her. There are pics showing her next to the seriously injured victims and then there are pics showing her still at GZ with those seriously injured removed. I think that the first responders did a fantastic job on treating those that were hurt the worst then they treated those that were less seriously injured next. Just like they were trained.
The hospital press conference noted that Bauman was the first patient they received, he went into surgery immediately to stabilize him, then he was later operated on again after others were stabilized. If I have all the stories together, he was the only one who lost both legs completely with nothing left attached to him. He also tried to get up (that's visible in the pictures) and that would have drawn attention to him. The fact they did triage so efficiently, "only" 3 people died even though legs were missing which means a lot of arteries cut. In fact, I fully expected the death toll to rise at least by 15 given the severity of the photos and the huge amounts of blood.

Re: Boston Marathon Explosion Pictures & Video

People have been identifying some interesting characters from photos prior to the explosions. I thought I'd share the ones I found from 4chan then as I was looking at the photos I thought I saw someone else who's backpack went missing but now I'm not so sure.

I went back and sorted the images of two guys (one with a backpack) who look Middle Eastern seemingly looking for a third guy who appears at ~13mins with a backpack.

I've labelled the photos I was looking through with times taken from the camera EXIF data starting from 00:07, clearly the times are wrong but they do provide a sequence at least.

The guy with the big shades and beanie is the one who I thought lost his backpack but on closer inspection, it seems he's still wearing it throughout this sequence.
The guys in the 13 mins photo look shady...
