Re: Boston Marathon Explosion Pictures & Video
There is so much shit going on and different stories but from what I understand the father/uncle is in Montgomery County MD. That's less then a half hour away from my place. I would believe it as things are pretty quiet around here. |

Re: Boston Marathon Explosion Pictures & Video
The thoughts and prayers of everyone at Hendrick Motorsports are with Andrew Collier and his family. Andrew, a machinist in the Hendrick Motorsports engine department, tragically lost his brother, Officer Sean Collier, last night in Cambridge, Mass. We ask that the family’s privacy be considered during this difficult time. Andrew, 25, joined Hendrick Motorsports in September 2008. I wonder if this will be specifically mentioned at the race this weekend. Likely so, but just a reminder of how many places one death reaches. |

Re: Boston Marathon Explosion Pictures & Video
Apparently the older brother flew to and from Russia out of JFK last year, was out of the country for 6 months, possibly received some sort of terrorist training. Time to sick the Russians on these pricks over there |

Re: Boston Marathon Explosion Pictures & Video
Hell yeah he does. He laid into them. The whole of the comments were just awesome. Video at the bottom. He also professes his love to the US and says "They do not deserve to live on this Earth". His entire speech was quoteworthy. The 2nd uncle seems to confirm the distance of the family, some type of rift - in which the parents then left the US but the bombers stayed behind. He says one of the guys called him yesterday though. Neither said what the cause was for them to stop speaking to the family though, but it must have been fairly large if true if it extended not just to the parents but to the bombers as well. |

Re: Boston Marathon Explosion Pictures & Video
Not sure what you mean by "they". Chechnyans? Islam/Muslim radicals? I think he was genuine. His story would be backed up by phone records and such. I'm positive the police would have already looked into all that and found a way not to let him speak so soon if they thought he was in regular contact with them, and you can bet they already looked into all his movements, contacts and anything else. There is confirmations that he reached out to the police himself. Either beforehand to give them the names, or after their names were released - depending on which media you want to believe but they all say he's the one who contacted them. Time will tell I suppose, but I believe him. |
